Cam Neely, 1986-87 home jersey. Just look at all the Boston Garden board paint on his sleeve- yummy!
If it ever came up for sale, I'd get a very big loan.

Since I only collect Jason Robinson shirts, anything I don't have is a grail, although I'm halfway there:

98/99 ECHL Chesapeake IceBreakers
98/99 IHL Cleveland Lumberjacks (I have a special 1 game throwback, but I like this style and want one!)
99/00 ECHL Toledo Storm
00/01 or 01/02 ECHL Greensboro Generals
03/04 BNL Newcastle Vipers

Being a fan of Kevin Brown, I am looking for any more of his gamers - nearly at double figures now. Ultimately though, I am desperate to find either of his Manchester Storm gamers. If anyone knows where they may be, I would pay very, very well.

Do you have any pics of your collection? I'm not for a moment suggesting it's a dud, but there are some shonky Macintyre's out there. A mate of mine used to collect his shirts and was offered a Knights and two Devils that were very much not gamers! Evil or Very Mad

There's certainly nothing in these shots that would suggest anything dodgy - and please, I certianly didn't mean to ether scare you, or suggest there was anythign wrong with the shirts you have. The ones my friend was offered were really poor attempts at fakes (which makes me almost as mad as the people who go to a lot of effort). One, if memory serves, was basically a replica fan jersey, with little more than the earnest assurances of the owner that it was a gamer, one was a sponsor-issued version, which had additions in terms of stitching that were never applied to the gamers on it. Dan,

While I agree that there are a lot of suspect McIntyre jerseys out there I can assure you that the two Devils jerseys that your friend passed up were both of excellent provenance. I have seen both jerseys and know where they came from. One of them was a road regular season jersey and was absolutely hammered with wear. The jersey was being brokered by a former Devils player on behalf of the jersey owner, whose identity I only recently discovered (a jersey collector who is involved in the admin side of hockey to this day).

The McIntyre Iserlohn jersey that has just ended on ebay was a replica. This was the regular season style jersey, not a warm up but it did not have the embroidered Metzen patch on the rear hem, did not have embroidered namebar or numbers and did not have the extra tag inside the neck. I have a game issue road jersey that has all these features and a gameworn road is on the way to me. I believe the seller of the white replica McIntyre might be your friend as I know he had one of those jerseys from a guy in Germany who offered it for sale on the Racers forum. It's been offered privately to me in the past.

I suppose it all comes down to doing your homework on a jersey.
