World Hockey Jerseys Announces IIHF Centennial Game Worn Jersey Auctions

World Hockey Jerseys, the number one source for game-worn jerseys from member countries of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF), is pleased to announce a spectacular series of auctions being held to commemorate the IIHF’s 100th Anniversary.
Nick Viris, CEO of World Hockey Jerseys, announced the auctions by saying: “We are honored to have the opportunity to offer a Hall of Fame caliber collection of jerseys from a large variety of nations that participate in the great game of hockey as a means of commemorating the IIHF’s Centennial Anniversary.”
Highlights of the auctions include an extensive selection of jerseys from the personal collection of a prominent member of the international hockey community, jerseys from countries that have never before been available to the public, and a Team Canada jersey worn by 4-time Stanley Cup Champion and Hall of Fame defenceman Larry Murphy in his final tournament
The auctions will run on eBay coinciding with the 2008 IIHF World Hockey Championships being held in Halifax and Quebec City. The first auctions will begin on April 25. Additional jerseys will be listed on eBay on April 26 and 27. The auctions will be one week in duration.
