First off thanks to Andy for approving me. Let me introduce myself briefly, name´s Sascha and I´m from Germany.

Right in my first post here I already got a request. I won a Bracknell Bees Jersey on ebay and it was sold as a game worn pre season shirt from 1998/99 but I have my doubts especially since the seller has apparently no hockey knowledge and is not answering my specific questions. I did not receive the shirt, yet and only received these 2 pictures after the acution closed.

So I was hoping that one of you might be able to tell from the 2 pictures I got if this is indeed a fan shirt as I fear or if it is a legit gamer. I guess this is the best place to ask, no? Wink

From loking at the pics I think it might not be a legit gamer, the main reason i think so is the back of the shirt. It has "Greg Burke", how many hockey jerseys ever have both the whole name of the player? Also the numbers don't look like numbers I've seen used on other jerseys.

But I really can't be sure, I don't know much about older Bracknell jerseys. But after first inspection, I wouldn't be 100% that its real...

That´s indeed something I found rather strange as well as the fact that the shirt seems rather small and it has no numbers on the arms as well. Pictures i could find of Bees jerseys from various years all had numbers on the arms and the crest logo was sewn on also. Anyway, I actually just finished another conversation with the seller and after confronting her with some of my thoughts she backpaddled pretty much by saying that I´d still got a good deal cause fan shirts would run for more than that amount in the store. She then relisted the shirt and said to refund me.

That pretty much sums it up for me. Thanks again Wink
